There is no shortage of excellent Mayfair bars and pubs located within walking distance of some of our finest London serviced offices. The question is, which one will be right for you? We’ve put together a brief summary of our opinions on the best bars in the West End.
For something luxurious but different try Sketch on Conduit Street – a short walk from our London serviced offices on Brook Street and Davies Street. This distinctive, modern and highly-original venue is one of the most unique places to drink and dine in the whole of London – however, it is also one of the most expensive. Cocktails here are highly recommended, and the food is excellent.
In close proximity to Sketch is Mews, a consistently popular Mayfair bar and restaurant with dark, art deco themes throughout. Spread over several floors, Mews offers a variety of environments depending on your mood, from the upstairs restaurant serving a delicious and varied menu, to the luxurious and accommodating cocktail bar below.
The Connaught bar within the grand hotel of the same name is located on Carlos Place, a few blocks north of our Charles Street London serviced offices. The staff are attentive, the surroundings opulent and the drinks flawless. When in Mayfair, this is a lovely place to stop by.
For a different atmosphere altogether, try the Mahiki Club on Dover Street which promises to transport you to a “Polynesian paradise.” The drinks menu is firmly set in the tropical end of the cocktail spectrum, with decor to match: Hawaiian fixtures and fittings rub shoulders with atmospherically-lit Tiki themed art, giving the impression of an exotic waterside hideaway, which in reality is only a five minute stroll from our London serviced offices at St James’s Square.
If you’d prefer something a little more traditional, the Mayfair pubs are sure to have something to your tastes. The Red Lion on Duke of York Street and The Golden Lion on King Street both come highly recommended, and The Only Running Footman is only a few doors down from our office address on Charles Street. What’s more Guy Ritchie and Madonna’s pub, The Punch Bowl is a great place to spot celebrities, and is located directly opposite our serviced offices on Farm Street.
